Getting to know meI am a spoken word artist, storyteller, and facilitator who weaves words into spaces of connection, transformation, and education. A tea-drinking, female-loving, ex-evangelical pastor turned author and speaker, I create and hold spaces where people can reimagine, reconcile, and reclaim their stories.
My work is birthed from the rich and intersectional lens of my Queer, Black, Indigenous, and female identities, shaping the way I engage with art, activism, and community. As a Poet and Gay Christian Activist, I explore the tensions of faith, justice, belonging, and self-discovery—inviting people into conversations that challenge, heal, and inspire. |
I have had the privilege of speaking and performing across universities, conferences, faith communities, and cultural events in North America, using storytelling to ignite dialogue and deepen understanding. As the co-founder of Voices Canada and an educator for Egale Canada, I am committed to advocacy, equity, and creating spaces where marginalized voices are heard, valued, and empowered.
Wherever I go—on stage, in workshops, or in community—I bring a passion for liberation, courageous imagination, and radical honesty. |
